If you needed more proof that Left-wing Democrats are willing to go to any lengths including violating the law just to steal power, this should do it.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has referred yet another woman who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct to the Justice Department and the FBI after she admitted late last week that she completely made up her story that he had “raped” her in her car decades ago.
The National Sentinel reported that the woman, Judy Munro-Leighton, contacted the Judiciary Committee over the summer in reference to a letter presented by panel member Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., from “Jane Doe” of Oceanside, Calif., claiming Kavanaugh raped her “several times.
The news site noted further:
In a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray on Friday, the Iowa Republican noted that the committee contacted several people claiming to have relevant information pertaining to the process of investigating sexual allegations leveled against Kavanaugh during his recent confirmation hearings.
“While many of those individuals have provided the Committee information in good faith, it unfortunately appears some have not,” Grassley wrote.
“The anonymous accuser alleged that Justice Kavanaugh and a friend had raped her ‘several times each’ in the backseat of a car. In addition to being from an anonymous accuser, the letter listed no return address, failed to provide any timeframe, and failed to provide any location — beyond an automobile — in which these alleged incidents took place,” he added.
In her ‘Jane Doe’ letter, Munro-Leighton wrote that she was “sharing with you the story of the night that Brett Kavanaugh and his friend sexually assaulted and raped me in his car…”
But when the committee’s investigators looked into her allegations, they found out that she’s a “Left-wing activist” who is decades older than Kavanaugh and who never lived in the Washington, D.C., area or California, but is instead from Kentucky.
She later told congressional investigators that she only sent the accusatory letter because she “just wanted to get attention.” She added that her actions were just a “tactic” and a “ploy” because she was against Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the nation’s highest court.
Lying to Congress – a felony – doesn’t get more brazen or clear than this.
In his letter to the Justice Department, Grassley wrote, “(I)n light of the seriousness of these facts, and the threat these types of actions pose to the Committee’s ability to perform its constitutional duties, I hope you will give this referral the utmost consideration.”
Munro-Leighton is the third Kavanaugh accuser to be referred to the DoJ and FBI. Last week, Grassley also referred porn lawyer Michael Avanetti and his client Julie Swetnick as well for allegedly providing false testimony to the committee.
And while Kavanaugh’s accusers are being referred for possible prosecution for allegedly lying about their claims, the Supreme Court justice himself has been cleared – again – of any wrongdoing.
Also on Friday, Grassley wrote a letter to Republicans on the committee informing them that following another lengthy investigation by congressional investigators and the FBI, there is “no evidence” indicating he engaged in any sexual misconduct.
Fox News noted that the 414-page report says that more than 40 people were interviewed, social media and news reports were monitored, and evidence provided by the justice himself and his accusers was reviewed.
“Following the separate and extensive investigations by both the Committee and the FBI, there was no evidence to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault made against Justice Kavanaugh,” said the report.
"This was a serious and thorough investigation that left no stone unturned in our pursuit of the facts,” Grassley said. “In the end, there was no credible evidence to support the allegations against the nominee.”https://t.co/xJKAoiWJlW

Meanwhile, the report also makes clear that no evidence whatsoever exists that Kavanaugh did anything at all wrong.
Now, what happens next is vital: If these people are allowed to get away with lying to Congress then no one will ever provide truthful testimony again.
